How to join?
The 2026-2029 Resident Council term is in session. If an officer vacancy occurs, the Resident Initiatives Department will process Resident Council and Jurisdiction Wide Resident Council Candidacy Petition forms to prepare for an election.

CMHA's resident councils are purposed to give residents an opportunity to participate in improving the quality of life in their communities.
Curriculum Objectives:
- Facilitate meetings (according to parliamentary procedures).
- Develop a working knowledge of HCV programming that supports self-sufficiency.
- Learn how to build community partnerships and organize community-wide events.
- Execute and present a capstone project.
